Random Prego Things

Here are a few random, pregnant thought I've been having in the last 5 months or so...

1.) I'm craving a tuna fish sandwich right now. Something I couldn't eat, even if I had it sitting in front me b/c mama isn't allowed to have tuna. Also, we just ate a HUGE dinner and I'm stuffed. Yet, I really want that tuna fish. I swear I can taste/smell one right now.

2.) My hair no longer just wants a haircut. It NEEDS a cut. It's been almost 8 months since I last had a cut/trim. This. Is. Bad. (and that's being nice). Not to mention, very embarrassing.

3.) I've got to put down the candy, ice cream and Otter Pops. Also soda b/c it gives me killer heartburn. The first 3 because I gained 10 POUNDS in the last 4 weeks. My doctor isn't too worried about it b/c I only gained 3 the month before... but still. 10 LBS?? Oh-my-junk-food.

4.) I need to go to the Rec Center and SWIM! I officially have no more excuses. Travis took me to buy a new maternity swim suit which is oh so cute and he made me buy a big, floppy hat and new suns so I can lounge in the lazy river at the Rec. I also have a cute yellow swim suit cover-up to sport and lovely bronze sandals from Old Navy that would go perfectly with my new swim outfit. See- I have no excuse. I've just got to go.

5.) I so desperately want to decorate the baby's room. I'm still 5 months or so away from having this baby, but still!!! I want to have all of the sweet yummy baby stuff :)

6.) I've turned into a cheapy. No, that' not a real word but to me it means "one who wants to pay the lowest possible price, and then haggle for lower." I look everyday, multiple times a day at cribs, rockers, gliders, couches, high chairs, strollers, car seats, etc. I search and search for the lowest prices and then I still try to haggle for lower. Most of the time, I'll get them pretty low and then I'll back out of the deal out of fear that I could get lower. I'm ridiculous, I know.

7.) WE'RE HAVING A BOY!!! I'm so excited! We've been referring to this baby as a boy the ENTIRE pregnancy, so I would have died (but still been super excited) if it was a girl and we had to break that habit. We had already decided on a boy's name (from like week -10 in the pregnancy) but we couldn't decide on a girl's name. So the fact that we are having a boy makes our lives that much easier. The name? It's our father's middle names: Wesley Norman Moore. We love it and we are so excited for little Wesley's arrival.

8.) We also refer to baby Wesley as "Little Bear." We have also done this from the very beginning, thus it'll more than likely be a life-long nickname. Maybe not the "little" part. But probably "bear." Idk how/why this started, but it did and it stuck. So naturally, when I found it we are having a boy, I started looking at boy stuff that had to do with bears. I learned very quickly that I do NOT like most of the bear stuff out there. Period. It all can be very cheesy and "Care Bear-ish." So I'm having to get very creative with this stuff.. which isn't my forte. At all. But I'm hopeful that over the next 5 months, I'll be able to make it happen.

Well, that's pretty much it for now. I'll try to upload some ultrasound pics. Also, I'll see if I can get around to taking a preg pic. Haven't yet, but we'll see...
