An Update On Us and Our Hiatus in Utah

As many of you know, we spent a good 6 weeks in Utah. We stayed with our lovely friends, the Haubs, who were gracious enough to put up with us for the entire time we were there. We are forever indebted to them.
We started our trip to Utah as just that- a trip. We planned on staying for 6 days and then making the trip back to Texas. We went up with the intentions of feeling out the great state of Utah and seeing if that was possibly the place the Lord wanted us. We decided to give it a go and we tried for 6 weeks to find a job, a place to live, etc. Long story short, we ended up deciding against staying long-term and we've made our way back down to south Texas.
While we were in Utah, we learned several things. I won't go into them because they are personal and sacred to our little family. But we are so very grateful for the time we did spend there and the things we learned from the Lord while we were there.
Trials can bring forth many blessings and we definitely have seen the fruits of those blessings (and continue to see them each day).

Now we are getting ready to move to New Braunfels. We are still looking for a permanent job but Travis is helping his dad with some work for the time being. We are excited for the things coming up in our lives. A new baby in a few months being the most exciting!

For now, I'll leave you with some pictures from the last few months.

(These are the Tuckers! President Tucker was Travis' Mission President for part of his mission. They had us over for dinner while we were in Utah. We also got to eat with Sister McIntyre- her husband was also one of Trav's Mission Presidents. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture with her but she did post some on FB.)
