Yesterday we officially moved all of our stuff into the house in New Braunfels. For those who don't know, Travis is working for his dad. His parents own a house in NB and have allowed us to make it our home for the time being. We have really awesome parents.
The thing I forgot about with moving is that although we've moved in, we aren't moved in. How have we accumulated all of this?!? And to think we sold a bunch of our stuff in a garage sale before leaving Lubbock... Moving has made me never want to pack again. I'd rather hold an estate sale each move and then start fresh.
After church today we started unpacking the kitchen. I then realized we didn't have any dish detergent so we've been hand washing. I didn't think it would be a big deal but the dishes just wouldn't stop coming! Yikes. Thankfully, Travis took over and finished them. The sad news is he has work in the morning so looks like I'll be unpacking the house by myself... One room at a time ;) And during one nap time at a time for Wesley :) Speaking of Wes- he's doing much better in nursery. He's stayed in there for 2 Sundays now and, according to the nursery leaders, is doing better about calming down when I drop him off. Woohoo!!
So now I'm just focused on getting everything ready for baby-time. With only 7 weeks left, I've gotta get things in gear. Especially being 45 minutes away from our hospital :)
Summary of update: Baby Moore is due in less than 2 months. We've moved to NB and are excited for our new town and new ward. Travis is working with his dad and Wesley has stayed in nursery for 2 Sundays in a row! Here's hoping that continues.
