Have 2+ Kids? Please read this and answer.

Okay parents of 2+ kids, this post is for you. I have a few things on my mind as the day of arrival for #2 gets closer and closer. I'm looking for opinions and advice so feel free to leave a comment.

-Tandem double jogging stroller: love them or hate them? Worth it to get a double stroller or just keep my single stroller?

-Sharing a bedroom: did #1 & #2 share or have separate rooms? If shared, how'd you get #1 to sleep in the room with a baby? Wesley has yet to fall asleep with someone in the same room as him, or stay asleep for that matter. If you had them share, did you do CIO (cry it out) with #2? If so, what was the timing on that? Did #2 go to bed first, CIO, and then #1 went to bed?

This is all I can think of right now. I'll have another post if I remember something else I'm debating in my mind.
Thanks!

  1. I have FOUR children under 8. Not that I'm an authority (crazy, maybe) about this stuff.

Double jogger all the way. We splurged and bought a Bob Duallie Revolution with our second child. Best.Idea.Ever We have taken that thing EVERYWHERE and it's held up amazing with the abused it takes from the kids. I've probably put 200 miles of running with/on it and then add in all the other stuff we use it for. It was pricey, but you get your money's worth. And you can sell it for nearly 1/2 to 3/4 what you bought it for after you're all done.

I did have a double umbrella and I hated it.

    -Sharing a bedroom

My kids share rooms (the boy in one, girls in other). But this has been tricky with my non sleeper last one.

  2. We bought a double britax b agile and I like it, but it isn't a jogger. If you want a jogger for all terrain get the bob...I've heard AMAZING things about it! But since I don't run and only need a stroller for errands and trips to parks ect, I got the britax and I really like it. For now I won't put the boys in the same room until sean starts sleeping through the night because ethan is a light sleeper, and when he doesn't get good sleep, my life is a nightmare! So that's my two cents:)
