Mr. Russ

Senor Russ is doing great! We've had a few minor bumps since birth but nothing major. I seriously mean minor. So minor that it's almost not worth mentioning. The only reason it's significant to me is because Wesley never had any of these little issues. So I'll fill you in just because.

Russell has officially been diagnosed with reflux and is on an antacid. He also has cradle cap and eczema on his arms and legs. At his 2 month appointment he dropped from 48th percentile in weight to the 16th. We went in at 3 months for a weight check and he'd dropped to the 13th percentile. Sooooo we're supplementing. The doctor wanted me to give it another month and try some things, which I'm doing, to possibly increase my supply and calories but I just couldn't stand another month dropping weight because of my milk. So we're supplementing. And I feel much better. He loves formula and still nurses very well. So there's that.

All of these "issues" are temporary. We feel blessed for the overall good health of our sweet smallest guy. He's such a smiler and coos at us all the time.

Wesley LOVES him. He likes him most of the time.

I just love this of the two of them in the bear suit. Cute boys!

When Wesley isn't playing with his brother, I find him doing things like this. Just before I took this picture, he was riding the airplane in his bed. Silly boy!
