Less than 1 Month!

Yesterday marked 36 weeks. Which means Wesley will make his debut within the next 4 weeks!!

We had a doctor's appt yesterday morning. It was the first appt that they checked to see if I was dilated. I wasn't. At all. But the doctor was way surprised out how low the baby's head was. It was really uncomfortable while she was checking. She just kept apologizing and commenting at how crazy it was that his head was so low. Funny thing- I've been telling her he's been really low for MONTHS. Oh well. I wasn't too disappointed that nothing was going on. We still have 4 weeks and that's soon enough for me :)

So anyway Travis and I left and went about our day as normal. Then last night, as I was getting ready for bed, it started. I had this constant pain throughout my lower back and across my lower abdomen. Then I started feeling contractions. I'm sure they were just Braxton Hicks because after about an hour they subsided and I wasn't as uncomfortable. Today, I haven't had the pain throughout my back and abdomen but I have definitely felt the Braxton Hicks. They haven't been consistent though so I'm not too worried. I guess we'll see next Tuesday if anything has changed. Let's hope we make it through next week without going into labor :) Preferably the next couple of weeks!
