Vacating Lubbock

Well we vacated Lubbock for 8 days and went to visit our family down south. We stopped in at Mimi's for a short visit and then drove to my parents' for a long weekend. My sisters came down too. It was a blast. We really had such a great time with everyone. On Tuesday we headed to Kerrville and spent a few days there. Then we went to New Braunfels and stayed a couple of nights with Alyssa and Ryan. The twins turned TWO and we celebrated a little with some chocolate cake. Even Wesley got in on the action.

Wesley had so much fun with his cousins. He wasn't used to that much playing and crashed during his naps. He even slept through the night last night! (he hasn't done that since his surgery...)

We had such a great time seeing family and spending time with them. We wish we could see them more often.

Now we're on the road back to Lubbock. We're excited for the last 3 classes of Travis' undergrad and even more for the day he gets to walk the stage in December.
