This actually has nothing to do with anything that happened this weekend. It's just an update that is happening on a weekend. Make sense?
Anyway, Wesley just keeps growing and growing. He's such a cutie and he makes us laugh so much. He walks along furniture, stands up on his own (not pulling up on anything to help him), and he has two bottom and two top teeth. He babbles a lot. Sometimes he tries to sing with us, especially during hymns at church. He is super cuddly and if/when he gets up in the middle of the night for a bottle, he likes to cuddle on both of us. He switches back and forth a lot and will lay across us so he's on both of us. It's just adorable!
With all of these wonderful things comes some not so wonderful things, naturally. Wesley is getting more clingy, he has a little bit of separation anxiety, he whines a lot more than he used to, he's started to throw temper tantrums... Typical, normal things for his age. As frustrating as it can be, we're grateful for these moments and experiences. No matter what has happened during the day, every night we find ourselves looking down on our sleeping baby, smiling, even giggling, at how sweet and cute and perfect he is. Thank you Heavenly Father for this amazing blessing.
Wesley has taught us so much. I feel like we grow each day with him. Being a parent has been such a humbling experience for me and I cannot wait to see what the next 80 years teach me. I've grown to appreciate my parents so much more and I am so grateful for them and for how they raised me.
Here's just a few pictures of the last month.

I want your baby. I miss yall. I'm glad things are fantastical :)
