Jessica and a Concert

As I mentioned before, Jess moved to Lubbock in mid-November. We've had a lot of fun hanging out with her these last few weeks. Shortly after she got here, our good friends surprised us with tickets to a concert for Travis' birthday. She was kind enough to babysit for us. We saw Blue October at a local venue. I must admit, the first two songs scared the heck out of me. Seriously. I'd never been to a heavy rock concert before. (Can I even call it that?) In Casi's words, "He looked like the Devil." After that though, it got good and we really enjoyed ourselves.

*Confession: I also had a mini-mini-mini-panic attack towards the end of the night. It all starts with this short story.... Several weeks before our concert, a guy in my class came to school with a brace on his arm. He works security at a local venue in Lubbock. He told the class that that weekend while he was working, a fight broke out between two guys. They kicked them out, but one of them came back and shot at the security. Now fast forward to the night of our concert- Towards the end of the night, a fight broke out with a couple of people near us. The guy who started it was escorted outside. I started to freak out and think that perhaps he might come back and start shooting. (I know.. dramatic.) We ended up leaving about 15-20 min later. As we walked to our car, we passed several cop cars and saw the guy sitting against the wall with several officers surrounding him. Moral of the story- I'm feeling too old for that kind of scene. I changed my outfit 3 or 4 times before leaving because I wasn't sure if I looked "hip enough." Hip or not, we really did have a blast. WE LOVE YOU BLUDORNS! Thanks again for the awesome night :)
Crazy cats!
We decided to take a picture with a picture of Wesley. We were missing the little guy.
Wesley loves his Titi
Casi and Jonathan
Here's a cute picture of Wesley eating spaghetti. He's a monster and we love him.
