Jimmy, Travis' best friend, is here for just a couple of nights as he makes the trek back to Rexburg for school. We're glad to see him and spend some time with him but we've felt bad because Lubbock isn't the most happening place. Especially on a Monday and Tuesday. We both have class during the day and there really isn't much to do at night... but he hasn't complained and seems to be enjoying his stay. He even brought his new pet- his Bonsai tree. He has yet to name it, but he's been diligent in keeping it watered and in the sun, just outside the door to our apartment.
Due to the amount of boredom we are exposed to, I guess any sort of "event" is exciting. At about 6:30pm, Jimmy heard the ice cream truck coming up the street. Travis and him ran outside, that was of course after Travis grabbed an ice cream bar from the freezer (silly boy) and ran out after him. I was lucky to get some pics of these two being silly. It's been the highlight of his trip...

We have an ice cream truck that comes by our apartment every day during the summer and it makes me SO happy. By the way, I had NO idea yall were living in Lubbock!
