Please do NOT be fooled. Yes, our sandwiches looked very similar to this lovely egg salad sandwich. However, I'm pretty sure this one was able to incorporate ALL of their yolks and leave OUT the egg shells. I made two fatal mistakes this morning as I was making my very first egg salad-1.) I didn't test one of the eggs to make sure they were all the way done. The yolks were still gooey in the middle :/ Thus, I threw most of them away.
2.) I was so mad about the egg yolks, I peeled the eggs very quickly in anger. Thus, we enjoyed some especially crunchy bites to our sandwiches.
At least we were able to enjoy these golden babies afterward:)
Yum. Gotta love that extra crunch!
ReplyDeleteSyd! Here's how to make the perfect hard-boiled eggs:
ReplyDeletePlace eggs in a pot with enough cold water to just cover the eggs.
Bring to a boil. I like to let them boil for like a minute. Then place the lid on the pot, remove from heat, and let them sit there for 12-13 minutes. Pour out the hot water and replace with cool water. Let eggs completely cool. They're easier to peel when they are cool.
